Michael Hettler cofounded Bartlo and Hettler in 1976 with Noel E. Bartlo. Mr. Bartlo, now retired, was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1959, served in the Office of Majority Counsel for the New York State Senate for over 25 years, and is a former Trustee of the Village of Kenmore. They joined with Paul Weiss to found Bartlo Hettler and Weiss in 1995, with the firm now having served the Western New York community for over 60 years.
Michael has been representing clients in Western New York in the general practice of law for over 40 years.
His practice includes estate probate and administration proceedings, and working with clients and families in estate planning, preparation of wills and trusts and elderlaw.
Michael also represents clients in both residential and commercial real estate, buying, selling, leasing and mortgaging, as well as examining real estate titles and resolving title issues. He was formerly an agent for Lawyers Title Insurance Company and is currently examining counsel for Stewart Title Insurance Company.
His practice also includes small businesses, and he has appeared in most of the local justice courts in Western New York representing clients charged with vehicle and traffic matters.
Michael was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1977, and counsels clients with regard to estate and real estate matters in that state.
